One that seconds would mock,
everything I wished for,
would always take a knock.

I waited for so long,
My life turned oblong,
I craved for some luck,
and then You came along.

The first page of my book,
and all the words it took,
It all just came to me,

Lying awake in the bed,
till my eyes turned red,
